Chiara’s first bedtime story was out of Plato’s Republic. I’m not convinced she listened for the irony the philosopher intended, but at least she had the good sense not to ask for Aristotle instead.
Ben, nice job blocking Sharla out of the picture. The Mom always gets all the credit. I'm sure Sharla will agree, you deserve some time in the lime lite. After all it takes a woman and a man to have a baby... er, well, except in Oregon.
Ahhhhhh... she's adorable! I think her expression indicates she understood more of Plato's story than you may have picked up. Luckily, babies start talking eventually; and when she does, she can explain all her impressions of it.
