Daddy Surprise!

In an effort to occupy CoCo while I was finishing dinner, I suggested she set the table. She thought for a moment and replied, "OK, Mommy. But I want to make a Daddy surprise!"
I had no idea what we were getting into but said, "Great Idea!"
Before I had time to think, she had organized her chairs outside, assigned me to help bring out the "too heavy for me" table and she set "CoCo size" place settings at each seat. She then searched for a candle and pretty napkins to accessorize her table. Then she gathered the troops (Graci and I) to wait patiently until daddy arrived.

Above, she is tickled to hear daddy pulling into the driveway.

Graci, playing along and waiting quietly... except for her constant drumming.

...and then we ate dinner like any other evening!

Wardrobe Independence

I start with this photo as this is what she built her outfit from... a green sock covered by an orange sock! The shoes came next as the orange strap matched the orange sock. After she was completely dressed, the hot pink anklet was the final accessory.
LOVING IT!

Lake Roosevelt!

We spent a fabulous weekend with some close friends!
We just can't stop talking about the view, the FOOD!! and all the fun we had!

Graci takes a turn on the spinning lounge chair!

WOW! No Hands!

Love these two!

A highlight of the lake was the rafts. Giggles could be heard across the lake as the guys spun the boat around and tossed it back and forth!

note: CC is sandwiched between the two older kids!

Splash contest!

Drama Queen!

Phil and Rachel provided sparklers and they were a hit!

Last Weekend!

(whoops got behind...)
We attended a US Soccer Club tournament!
Center field below is Sydney! What a treat to watch she and her team WIN their game! This was good soccer, folks!

Reading "pat the bunny" on the sidelines!

Always a joy to see these beautiful girls!
