CC: The animals are all lined up for dinner, but they have to wait for their momma to feed them.  It's not prepared yet.

(this discovery made about 15 min prior to dinner)

4th Birthday Party!

We celebrated CoCo's 4th birthday today!

Can't believe it!

A card she got in the mail marked our front door,
"This is the party house."

She wanted a purple cake with a purple dinosaur on top!

Each of the girls decorated sunglasses with puffy gem stickers.

E dressed up her animal as a ballerina!

Almost everyone decked out in dress-up clothes!

Her highlight: Chocolate cake!

Wow! We were blessed with a gorgeous warm day!

Stage Presence!

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear???

Me: What are you doing up there? (slightly exasperated)

CC: Performing! (in a sarcastic "obviously" tone)

I decided good parenting would NOT take a photo & encourage such "stage presence".

I caved. I had to admit, "It's funny."

No Spring For You!

Not yet anyway...
We are anxious to start our "days at the parks", but weather has made it QUITE cool and cold fingers have often sent us home early. :(

CC fears her hat will blow away... never to return!

Alas, we can't claim to be from the Northwest if we allow the weather to keep us captive indoors. So, we venture out between showers, look for and rejoice in the signs of spring and trust warmer days are quickly on their way!
