CoCo's been begging for a squirt gun fight. I've been waiting for warm weather?! She finally got her way (despite the forecast) and we had a BLAST in the rain! We were absolutely drenched by the end! Will definitely repeat!

Happy Father's Day, Ben!

The truth is... I don't say a whole lot about Ben on our blog. If you know him well, you understand that's the way he prefers it. But, today is different. I just want to say that he's amazing! He's patient & kind and likely one of the most creative daddy's out there! I love watching him play with our girls, joke with them and make them giggle! They truly adore him! It's amazing when life surprises you beyond your greatest hopes and that's how I feel about my girl's Daddy. Watching him as a parent has made me fall madly in love with this man all over again. Thank you, Love!

Over the past few weeks, I've been asking the girls some questions about their daddy and I thought I'd share some of my favorites!

Q: What does Daddy do after you go to sleep?

CC: He tiptoes into my room, kisses my nose, reads Lady & the Tramp then takes his own nap.

Q: What's your favorite thing about Daddy?

G: Coming Home!

Q: What days does Daddy get to stay home?

CC: Sundays and all the other days I have vacation.

Q: What's your favorite word?

G: Daddy!

Q: What do you like to do with Daddy?

CC: Paint, color & draw. That's what we do best.

G: Wing aww-ound. Fall down.

Q: Where does Daddy work?

CC: A tall, tall, tall white building.

Q: What does he do there?

CC: Play on his computer and ride the bus.

Q: What's Daddy's favorite sports team?

CC: Purple Football!

Q: What does Daddy do when he has time to himself?

CC: What are you talking about?  I'm never even there!

Q: If Daddy got a dog, what would he name it?

G: Toot!    CC: Lady & the Tramp!

Q: If Daddy could do anything on Father's Day, what would he do?

CC: He'd look inside our presents so he could be surprised!

Graci smeared yogurt all over and I asked, "What are you doing?"

She replied proudly, "Ceam.  Like Daddy!"  Shaving cream/yogurt... guess it's all the same when you're two!

Commuters Dialogue!

Lately, I've been asking my girls a lot of questions while we drive throughout our city.  My favorite "conversation" of last week follows:

Me:  CC what do you want to be when you grow up?
CC:  Umm.  A Zoo Keeper!
Me:  Fun!  Are you going to have warty pigs (her fav animal) at your zoo?
CC:  Oh No!  I'm going to have a super tall giraffe named Karlee who's middle name is "warty pig".  Oh mama, it's gonna be SUCH a funny zoo.  You never want to miss a visit.  Not EVER

Me:  G what do you want to be when you grow up?
G:  Umm...  THREE!  :)

Following in CoCo's footsteps Graci was dedicated at her 2nd Birthday party.  It was a sweet time of sharing scripture, prayer and remembering that our children are a gift from the Lord.  Thank you to Grandparents, Godparents, family and friends who came to share this time with us.  Graci is so blessed to have you all surrounding her in love and prayer.
