Harvey Wavebanger Too!

On Saturday morning, Becky's aunt and uncle took us out for a tour of the harbor on their boat. It was a delightful morning and definitely a highlight of the weekend!

Historic Note: (if interested)
Above is the buoy that honors the writing of the Star Spangled Banner. During the war of 1812, Francis Scott Key was sent out to a British ship to negotiate the release of prisoners. The negotiation was successful, but he was kept on the boat that night as the British would not release him back to Baltimore as he now knew the strength and position of the British units. So, Francis Scott Key's only choice was to watch the British battle the Americans at Fort McHenry. Of course, he and the prisoners were thrilled the next morning to see that "the flag was still there". What he saw and heard that night inspired him to write the national anthem.
