1st Family Reunion!!!

Portland, Oregon!!

Due to forest fires, our reunion was moved to the "Portland McRae's" house. They graciously hosted all of us at their new home. It was a very fun 4+ days as you'll see in the photos below!

CoCo wasn't too sure what to think of all the attention at first.  AND there was a lot of attention to be had!!!  :)

We started the weekend off by celebrating Courtney's 7th birthday!  It was an Olympic theme, so there were all kinds off relays and a medal ceremony at the end!!

Ballard Locks...

Today we met Brad and Kathy for a picnic at the Ballard Locks. We then watched all the boats make their way through the locks. We also checked out the fish ladder at the locks and there were LOTS of flying fish as sockeye salmon are heading upstream...

..and Unlce Brad taught Chiara how to do sit-ups!

Play-Gym Daze!

A few weeks ago, Chiara was lent a play-gym from her friend, Evelyn!  WELL!  It has proven to be our whole family's entertainment!  Chiara loves it!!!  She smiles, laughs and giggles at all the hanging characters.  Ben enjoys giving voices to the various animals as he gets lots of joyous feedback from CoCo!  And I love playing peek-a-boo through the arches!  It's provided some great fun for all of us!

Chiara meets the Patricks!

Yesterday, Chiara and I braved the 520 bridge and went to see Terra.  She and I have been friends since high school.  Her handsome three are all expecting a 4th little one to arrive in 5 weeks.  The question is, girl or boy?  I think before meeting these adoring kidos, Coco was hoping for a little girlfriend to play with.  However, after being introduced to these wonderful guys... who wouldn't hope for a 4th little boy??  :)
