Island Vacation!

We live in a beautiful state! Last weekend we spent some time on one of the nearby islands. After being hot for two weeks, the winds sent in a cool system. No worries. It didn't stop our fun!

Kids Breakfast Menu!

G and C had a sleepover at our cabin.

When I got to the kitchen the morning after, G said she had already showed C our "breakfast menu".  She then pointed to the floor where she had stacked the menu and added, "Oh Ya, there is yogurt and fruit if you want to be healthy."

(note: chocolate covered marshmallows were consumed post breakfast)

Ben has some great friends from high school that he likes to meet up with.  Once in a while, they bring their families along.  This is known as :

Finale!

For their final dance, each performer was given a matching hair bow.  It was their "costume".  Then the teacher presented each gal with a rose and little personal note.  Sweet.

Soccer Blur

Our first soccer season has already come to and end. CC was invited to join a team and it proved to be a wonderful group of players, coaches and parents! AND she has decided to play again! So, here's hoping to clear future soccer photos!  :)

Barn Reception!

This weekend we had the honor of attending Trav and Lindsay's wedding!  The reception was in a rustic barn that was transformed into an elegant venue!  It was lovely!  I took very few photos as they pay a photographer to do that, but I did capture a few moments...

Rose Birthday Party!

Many months ago, G asked for a "Rose Birthday Party". I asked her exactly what she meant and she replied, "It means you wear a Rose Party Dress and eat Rose Cake." So, we celebrated with roses, dresses, cake and friends. It was actually a really fun party theme and not as complicated as I'd feared!
