French Braids

When my mom comes to visit, she puts beautiful braids in my girl's hair.  So, last fall after Oma left, CC naturally asked for a braid.  I replied with, "Sorry sweets!  Your Mama doesn't know how to French Braid."  CC then quoted my very own words back to me, "If you don't practice Mama, you'll never learn."

Fast Forward 9 months:

I can French Braid!

Trust me, it's not easy learning on squirmy toddlers with fine hair!  So, please don't underestimate the talent displayed above!

Summer Fun!

A much more low key summer than we had planned (most plans went to the wayside) thanks to a little peanut that didn't cooperate with Mama's tummy. However, the girls think it was great as they each had 2 sessions of swim lessons... which they loved! And there were lots of local park dates and we even went to the Burke Museum where CC saw dinosaur bones for the first time (a dream come true for our little gal).
