My Mama!

My mom came to stay with us for a week, but ended up staying an extra week due to hurricane delays! She is the easiest of guests! You would hardly know she's here except for the countless dishes she does, the laundry she folds, the books she reads to our girls, the walks she takes (with at least one toddler at her side), the cooking, the baking and all the wonderful things she contributes! I'm so glad she works so hard while she's here because I don't get a thing done during her visit.   I simply want to soak up all conversation and tea time with her!

It was such a great weekend to celebrate a wonderful family!  It was truly super to see everyone again, catch up and reconnect!  What an honor to attend such an event!

Backwards Day!

We celebrated CC's half birthday with a backwards day!

We started our morning with bedtime prayers and a story. Then we all put our clothes on backwards and moved from there into a spaghetti dinner (with coffee)!  Everything we could think of, we did backwards. We walked backwards, tried talking backwards, said our thank yous and then our pleases, we read books back to front, announced the winner before we started the game and all our meals were "all mixed up"! Our day ended with a candlelight breakfast where we each took a turn to tell CC what we loved the most about her and we lit one candle and sang to our sweet girl. She hugged my neck that night and whispered, "I just love silly mommy! I hope we can always be silly together!"

BFA Reunion!

We had a wonderful weekend together! The turn out may seem low, but from a class of 29 students that currently live around the world.... we did pretty well! :) 

We tried ooVoo!  We were able to chat with other classmates in China, Ontario, Missouri, Finland and Qatar!  Below we are chatting and catching up!
