Super cute (and easy) reindeer cones from our neighbors! Inside each cone was enough chocolate and marshmallows to make a cup of hot cocoa with a sugar cone for dipping!

Liam's Senior Photos
Brad and Kathy asked me to take Liam's Senior Portraits. I admit to trembling at the knees, emphasizing full disclosure of amateur photography and of course agreeing to give it a try. It was a cold and DREARY day and completely fogged in across Lake Union. In the end, I had a lot of fun. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thankful For Grandparents!
Thankful for Grandma this week!
With two kiddos sick, an overnight trip to Children's Hospital (G is doing well now) and a super busy work schedule. Don't know what we would have done without all Grandma's help and thoughtfulness! Thank You!

Brief Thief!
Funny Book!
(G's library pick)
I highly recommend it! Not because it's got any deep message or lesson. Not because it's the best written or illustrated book (I don't claim to be a judge of either). Simply because it's FUN! Our girls laughed so hard at the ending (warning: we may have an odd sense of humor).
Anyway, read it because it will make you laugh (or at least roll your eyes). AND be prepared to read it at least 20 times before you return it to the library!

Unicorn & Fairy Princess!
CC really wanted to be a Unicorn, but HAD to match her sister. So, she convinced G to be a Fairy Princess... 'cause they of course MATCH?!
No smiles from our Unicorn... "They can't smile, mom. They're just beautiful."
Hope you also had a very Happy Halloween!

I think I already had an outie at week 6!
Feeling a little better these days and hoping the nausea will end completely!

French Braids
When my mom comes to visit, she puts beautiful braids in my girl's hair. So, last fall after Oma left, CC naturally asked for a braid. I replied with, "Sorry sweets! Your Mama doesn't know how to French Braid." CC then quoted my very own words back to me, "If you don't practice Mama, you'll never learn."
Fast Forward 9 months:
I can French Braid!
Trust me, it's not easy learning on squirmy toddlers with fine hair! So, please don't underestimate the talent displayed above!
