Green Eggs and Ham!

Today was St. Patty's day!
The girls had friends over this morning. While they sat on the couch and read Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham I grilled our own green eggs and ham! The kids were pretty excited and I thought they'd eat them for sure. Well, we got mixed reviews!

I made corned beef and cabbage with Irish soda bread (yummy) for dinner. Later in the evening, these three formed a band! It was pretty cute how they played along to the Irish music!
Super fun filled day!

Girls Will Play!

While Ben was away skiing, we went on our own road trip up to Canada! Except for Graci's major tummy upset, we had a fabulous time!

Diane took the girls one morning to feed ducks.

Upon Ben's return, CoCo was telling him her trip highlights and explained that swimming and feeding were her favorites. She got to swim with Claire and Graci & feed both Claire and the ducks.

"But Daddy, it's not okay to feed Claire the duck food."

Happy Valentines Day!

Our street is full of boys!
So naturally, we decided to have them all over for a Valentine Cookie Decorating party! It was super fun! A wonderful way to gather the neighbors in the winter months and send them home with tasty cookies to enjoy for the upcoming holiday!

And all too soon it was over...
I think it will be a repeat in years to come!

Seattle Beach Day (in Feb) ?!

Seattle, we had a wonderful week of SUN!
I put off my weekly grocery shop for three days because I refused to miss a minute!
On the sixth day of sun, I woke up to CoCo's excitement. "It's still SO sunny! It's a beach day!" With a lunch packed, we went to the beach and three hours later I forced everyone back into the car despite protests. Amazing Day!
