Sugar Cookies, Yum!
Our street is full of boys!
So naturally, we decided to have them all over for a Valentine Cookie Decorating party! It was super fun! A wonderful way to gather the neighbors in the winter months and send them home with tasty cookies to enjoy for the upcoming holiday!

Seattle Beach Day (in Feb) ?!
Seattle, we had a wonderful week of SUN!
I put off my weekly grocery shop for three days because I refused to miss a minute!
On the sixth day of sun, I woke up to CoCo's excitement. "It's still SO sunny! It's a beach day!" With a lunch packed, we went to the beach and three hours later I forced everyone back into the car despite protests. Amazing Day!

Ballet Performance!
We were able to attend CoCo's ballet class!
Each ballerina was delightful! I finally have a sense of why she asks if EVERY day is ballet... it was really really FUN!

Chicho & Phil !
Finally, some wedding photos!
I hesitate to share the photos as I only took about 12 photos and these were the best. As it turns out, it's hard to take photos while holding and entertaining children?!

Stormy ferry ride to the wedding (it was snowing & quite windy).
Friends, who sat across from us! The decorations were amazing!
There were lights and snowflakes strung throughout the entire hall. There was a snow globe on the front stage that everyone got to stand in and have their photo taken. The tables all had personalized party favors adorned with crochet (by the bride AND groom) snowflakes. The center of the table had winter branches that were decorated by blue & silver ornament balls and a silver glitter ribbon wove through the twigs. The winter wonderland illusion was accomplished!

Carpe Diem ?
I'm not a writer. But I like to read.
A post title caught my attention today. I read it. I loved it.
I want to share it.
"Don't Carpe Diem"
(great title)
See, I LOVE LOVE being a mommy! But, when I'm honest with myself and others. I don't always enjoy it. It's difficult to admit. There's a moment of panic that washes over me. I know I should love it because I'll wake up tomorrow and all will have vanished. I'll wish it back.
Truth is... some days it's SUPER tough being Mama!
Anyway, this post has freed me... at least for the moment!
A Kairos moment today! Her laugh is magical!
