HAPPY EASTER !!!

We are finding all kinds of fun spring plants in our new to us yard!!!

For part of our Easter celebration, we went into our yard, picked some foliage and made 3 beautiful arrangements to display in our home. They turned out perfect and it was fun to clip and gather!

Funny Sights !

Every day holds some sort of humorous outfit or event. Sadly, I don't always have my camera, but here are a few I've been able to catch over the past weeks...

A couple weeks ago while I was making lunch, Ben came in and asked if I had a minute to help him outside. I peaked into the living room and saw CoCo happily playing and stepped outside to offer my services. When I returned to making lunch, a chair was pulled up to the counter and the bread had been tampered with. However, there was not a little person in sight!!!

I swear, we have never done a rectal temperature!

Thankfully, she's taking a "dry bath" !

After putting CoCo down for her nap, I came down to clean up from lunch.... only to find one of CoCo's furry friends wasn't quite finished eating!

Dress Up !!!

Seems like every time I turn around she's wearing something new or at least sporting a new accessory. In the photos below I caught her going up the stairs wearing a hat my Grandma knit for either my sister or I when we were first born. When I asked her why she was going upstairs, she said, "Gocks." I then asked, "Why do you need socks?" (she has footies in her PJ's) She replied, "Shoes." :)

Canada vs USA!!!

Men's Olympic Hockey !!!

Ben cheered for the USA and CoCo and I cheered for Canada! Ben was quick to point out that CoCo's red and white striped pants looked suspiciously American! :)

CoCo got right into the cheering, but sadly (for the girls in our family) the USA took this game. We would LOVE to see a second USA vs Canada match up in the Olympic Gold Medal Game!!!

Valentines And Birthdays!!!

FUN WEEKEND !!!

We started Friday with a phone call to Ben's brother... only to find out we have a new niece!!! Congratulations to the San Diego Wilcox Crew!

Meghan was born February 12th and thus began the weekend of birthday celebrations!

We made our way to Portland on Friday and ended up at Ben's cousins place. Saturday was Ben's birthday, so we had a fun morning with the cousins and went for a lovely swim in the afternoon. In the evening, we watched Courtney dunk a few basketballs and ended the day BOWLING!

Ben is exactly 3 days older than his twin cousins, Brad and Cory.

I suspect there were some buttons bursting at the McRae Grandparents the week the boys were all born! THREE grandsons in 3 days! :)

Finally, Happy Birthday to Grandpa who is lucky enough to celebrate his birthday every year on Valentines Day! Hope it was great!

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma, we've got one window in our home decorated for the upcoming holiday! I had no idea hearts could be so fun!

NON- Super bowl Party!

I told Ben I didn't want to have a super bowl party! We'd had lots of guys over for football in the past weeks for playoff games and I thought we should just keep it simple.

Well, my sister is in town and a classmate from HS flew in from Bangladesh on super bowl Sunday. Over the course of the day, he met up with three other friends. Long story short... there were 9 of us watching the last football game of the season.... it was a fun spontaneous NON-party!

Weekend Trips!

While daddy was away at "ski-fest" in Colorado....

...CoCo and I took our own little trip to visit Canada.

I didn't take a lot of photos, but this was definitely my favorite... Uncle Howard fell asleep while watching hockey and CoCo tucked a little dolly into his lap to keep him company while he was snoozing.
